December 2016

This holiday season, Berea Baptist Church partnered with Calvary United Methodist Church and The Newark Boys Chorus School on a mission to bring Christmas gifts, joy, and the Message of Christ to families, children, and teens living in the Apostle’s House Shelter in Newark, NJ. Together we raised over $800 and were able to provide all 18 children, living in the shelter,   a gift bag filled with presents for Christmas. Members from both churches along with students and staff of The Newark Boys Chorus School will be visiting the shelter on December 21st. On this date, we will be delivering the Christmas gifts along with caroling by the Network Boys Chorus and a short sermon focusing on Christmas & the Gospel, by Pastor Dave Paszkiewicz.
